When you are ready to list your home several steps will take place.
- First a Comparative Market Analysis will be performed by your agent. This allows your agent to know where your home’s value falls in line compared to homes in your area in similar size, condition and age. Depending on your goals, your agent will recommend a listing price to get started.
- Your agent may offer suggestions on repairs (minor and sometimes major), redecorating, and/or decluttering your home to make it as marketable as possible.
- At this point, professional photos will be taken in order to showcase your home and it’s features.
- Your home will then be listed on the MLS, and marketed across all major real estate website platforms such as Zillow, Trulia and Realtor.com. Custom marketing post will be uploaded on all major social media platforms to ensure your listing gets as much exposure as possible!
Once an offer is received, it’s time for you and your agent to review the terms and conditions. In the event of multiple offers, your agent will guide you on the offer with the best terms in place. Once an agreement is reached, your home will then be marked pending/under contract.
Now it’s time to pack! From the time the agreement is reached to closing there may be several key events along the way that your agent will help you through such as inspections and appraisals.
On average, Team Timmons estimates between 30 to 45 days, you will be settling on your home sale and moving on!
